Mt Rainier will delight you with its vast expanses of pristine old-growth evergreen forests, gorgeous subalpine flower meadows and spectacular alpine vistas. Our nation’s fifth-oldest national park features magnificent rivers, mountain lakes, waterfalls and wildlife, and boasts the greatest single-peak glacial system in the United States. Glaciers radiate from the summit of the 14,411-foot dormant volcano, many of which are visible from your tour.

The seasons, weather, and elevation partially determine what you’ll see on your tour. Paradise is usually snow-free by July, with alpine flowers appearing shortly thereafter. Mount Rainier itself may be shrouded in clouds at any time of year.

We’ll enjoy tastings at the Columbia Winery as well as one of three boutique wineries—Novelty Hill/Januik, Silver Lake or Patterson Cellars. After lunch, we’ll drive through lush Northwest rural scenery with rolling Cascade mountain foothills, past horse ranches and beautiful flower farms en route to spectacular 270 ft. Snoqualmie Falls.

When the schedule permits we also enjoy a stop at Boehm’s Chocolate Factory in Issaquah for tasty samplings of fine chocolaty treats. Our return journey to Seattle and your hotel takes us over Lake Washington on the Interstate 90 Lacey V. Murrow Memorial Bridge, the world’s third longest floating bridge.

Enjoy the spectacle of over a thousand acres of brilliant, multi-colored tulip fields and bulb farm gardens—the largest tulip-growing region in America. In addition, you’ll have a chance to ask questions of the tulip growers, buy some beautiful field-fresh flowers, and order bulbs to grow your own tulip garden.

You’ll also visit the breathtaking gardens at Tulip Town and Roozengaarde and wander through row after row of rainbow-hued tulips. Don’t forget your camera!

This popular tour takes you for an extraordinary behind-the-scenes look at large airliner manufacturing and the amazing face of future commercial aviation. Ride in comfort to Boeing’s massive factory in Everett, by volume the largest building in the world. From high above the factory floor you’ll view the assembly of Boeing’s wide-open body airplanes – the 747, 767, 777 and the technologically advanced 787 Dreamliner.

On the flight line see airlines in various stages of being outfitted and painted for airline customers around the world. You may also see a Dreamlifter on the field, a jumbo 747 cargo plane modified to transport the Dreamliner’s large parts from every corner of the wolrd to Everett for final assembly.
